About Echinodorus Bleheri Amazone
To plant the Echinodorus Bleheri Amazon in your aquarium, it's important to first remove the protective wool from the roots. This can be easily done with tweezers. Then, carefully remove any damaged leaves from the plant, leaving only the beautiful leaves. Then, carefully trim the roots with scissors, being careful not to cut them too short. Finally, you can place the plant in the bottom of your aquarium and anchor it firmly.
Propagating the Echinodorus Bleheri Amazone is done the same way as other rosette plants, namely via runners. By trimming the plant slightly, you stimulate the production of a stress hormone, which causes the plant to produce runners. These runners will grow into smaller versions of the plant. Once they reach a length of 5 centimeters, you can move them to another location in the aquarium. You can also choose to leave them, creating a row of small cuttings. Keep in mind that this requires more energy from the mother plant. After many cuttings, the main plant may be lost; but the result is an abundance of new plants.
