    How to plant

    Planting Aponogeton is relatively easy and can be done in various ways, depending on your preference and the setup of your aquarium. It is best to plant the plantonto plant in the ground or to stick about one third of the tuber into the ground.

    This prevents the tuber from suffocating and ensures that the plant can grow well.

    To keep the tuber in place, you can weigh it down with aceramic ring, which is often included with aquarium potted plants. This helps the Aponogeton stay firmly in place while setting up the aquarium. Another option is to gently wedge the tuber between rocks or other decorations. This also provides stability and prevents the plant from floating.

    Make sure there's enough room for the leaves to grow upwards and that the plant gets enough light. With the right approach, your Aponogeton will thrive and become a beautiful accent in your aquarium!

    Pruning Aponogeton is an effective way to encourage this tuberous plant to quickly grow new leaves. Aponogeton grows from a tuber.

    Cutting a few leaves from the tuber puts it into "survival mode." This allows it to use all its energy to quickly produce new leaves.

    Start by inspecting your Aponogeton and looking for leaves that are wilted, damaged, or too long. Carefully trim the leaves as close to the bulb as possible with sharp shears. Avoid damaging the bulb itself during pruning, as this is where it draws its energy for new leaf growth.

    Regular pruning encourages the development of fresh, new leaves that are stronger and healthier. Aponogeton tends to grow quickly, so removing the old leaves encourages it to grow wider.
