General information about the Enchytraeids
Enchytraea – also known as white worms – are a powerful and nutritious live food for your fish. They are packed with fatty acids and proteins not found in plankton, making them a unique addition to your fish's diet. Catfish species, in particular, thrive with Enchytraea, and breeding is often only truly successful when these worms are included in the diet.
What do Enchytraea do in your aquarium?
These worms are irresistible to many fish species and stimulate natural foraging behaviour. They give your fish a significant energy boost and contribute to healthy growth. But be careful: it's a concentrated feed! Feed them a maximum of 2–3 times a week to prevent your fish from getting too fat.
